Ottawa: Parents are struggling to find pain and fever medicines for their children due to the rise in respiratory diseases. But in the meantime, On Monday, Health Canada announced that it has made arrangements to supply the children’s acetaminophen drug from abroad.

In the coming weeks, this supply will be available for retail purchase and parents will also be able to get it from community pharmacies. In addition to this supply, Health Canada has also recently approved the import of ibuprofen and acetaminophen medicines for newborns and young children to make them available to Hospitals in Canada. The agency has also claimed that the supply of Ibuprofen has been imported and it is being distributed.

Meanwhile, Health Canada has also appealed to parents not to collect the medicines after seeing the supply on the shelves of the store as there is still a shortage of these medicines and this can cause inconvenience to other needy parents.
