Chandigarh: The principal of Amritsar Government Medical College and the medical superintendent of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital have tendered their resignation from their respective posts in solidarity with VC Dr Raj Bahadur.
The Principal Director of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, Dr. Rajiv Devgan and Superintendent Dr. The resignation tendered by KD Amritsar Government Medical College has confirmed the development.
Health Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra had forced VC Bhadaur to lay down a patient’s bed during an inspection yesterday at medical college in Faridkot.
Targeting, AAP government over the incident, Lok Sabha member Harsimrat Kaur Badal has demanded the dismissal of health minister Chetan Singh Jodamajra.
Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that she urged Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to remove the power-drunk health minister Joramajra, from his post for humiliating and misbehaving with Dr Raj Bahadur.
