HP police arrested youth from Punjab in connection with hoisting Khalistani flags outside assembly in Dharamshala

Chandigarh: Himachal Pradesh police have arrested a resident of Morinda in Punjab, in connection with the Khalistani flags hoisting outside assembly in Dharamshala.

DSP Jarnail Singh said HP police had reached Morinda in the morning under the leadership of SIT incharge Vimukt Ranjan. Police arrested Harvir Singh alias Raju during a raid at the house on Morinda Sugar Mill Road after informing Morinda police about the raid.

In this case the police party of Himachal Pradesh also raided the house of Mehar Singh in village Roorkee Heeran falling in Sri Chamkaur Sahib to arrest his son Paramjit Singh but could not find him, police said.
