Chandigarh: Bharatiya Janata Party state president Ashwani Sharma took a dig at Aam Aadmi Party party and ever since the AAP formed government formed in Punjab, incidents of murder, crime, robbery and theft have been on rise across the state.
He alleged that Khalistani elements have also spread their tentacles and current government in Punjab is pushing the state back to the dark era of terrorism. The Mann government has created an atmosphere of terror and anarchy among the people of the state. During the tenure of just two months of the AAP government, the people of Punjab are feeling cheated, he added.
Sharma met party National President J P Nadda at his office in Delhi in connection with the upcoming body elections in Punjab and the By-election to the Sangrur Lok Sabha. Ashwani Sharma briefed national president Nadda on the performance of bhagwant mann government in Punjab in the last two months and gave a detailed account of the current politics of Punjab.
