IND vs WI: Rohit Sharma to return for T20 series, Virat Kohli to be rested

New Delhi: The T20 series between India and the West Indies is going to start from July 29. For the T20 series against the West Indies, captain Rohit Sharma will return to the squad. But veteran batsman Virat Kohli can be rested from the T20 series. Apart from this, R Ashwin can once again be selected in the T20 squad.

The BCCI is soon going to announce the squad for the T20 series against the West Indies. Apart from Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya will also get a chance in the T20 series.

According to a report, Team India captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid want to try all their options before the T20 World Cup. Chief selector Chetan Sharma is also siding with the coach and captain in this matter.

 

Ashwin will be back in team:

After becoming the captain of the team, Rohit Sharma had made it clear that R Ashwin was part of his plan for the T20 World Cup. Now, after seven months, R Ashwin’s return to Team India is considered to be certain.

Team India is also scheduled to be a part of the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka next month. This time the Asia Cup will be held in the T20 format. Virat Kohli is likely to return to the T20 team during the Asia Cup.
