India asks Canada to take ‘strong action against perpetrators’ after vandalising Hindu temple in Brampton

New Delhi: Sikh separatists have allegedly damaged a Hindu temple Gauri Shankar temple in Brampton, Canada. India has lodged a strong objection to this matter. The Indian Embassy in Canada has also informed global affairs, Canada about this whole matter. It also demanded strict action against the culprits.

Earlier, similar incidents have also been reported from Melbourne, Australia. The Vishnu temple in Melbourne was damaged and vandalised by Pro-Khalistan supporters, following which the Indian High Commissioner in Australia visited the temple.

According to media reports, a group of Sikh separatists has been active in Britain, Germany and america and is getting help from Sikhs for Justice.

The Modi government has taken up the issue vigorously with the respective governments, including the US.

However, the British and Canadian governments have been justifying violence, arson and terror against the Indian community in the name of freedom of expression.

At the same time, it is also believed that the minority community is being shown as a victim to put the Modi government in the dock that is why no action is being taken against Sikh separatists.

On the other hand, recently there was a controversy over a BBC documentary on the 2002 Gujarat riots.
