India beat South Africa in 1st T20I: Suryakumar, Rahul shine

New Delhi: In the first match of the three-match T20 series between India and South Africa was played in Thiruvananthapuram, India defeated South Africa by 8 wickets in this match.

The match was played at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant half-century of 50 not out for India. He hit 5 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. Apart from Suryakumar, KL Rahul also played a match-winning innings of 51 runs. He hit two fours and four sixes in his innings. For South Africa, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje took 1-1 wickets.

Africa had set a target of 107 runs.
