New Delhi: In a trilling T20 match, India beat the West Indies at the Eden Gardens by eight runs on Friday and take a 2-0 unassailable lead in the three-match T20I series.
Continuing with their winning streak, India set a target of 186/5 as Virat Kohli scored 52 and Rishabh Pant’s quick 52 not out inning.
Meanwhile, Nicholas Pooran (62 off 41) and Rovman Powell (68 not out off 36) kept the West Indies in the run chase, however, the fall short by eight runs as team ended at 178 for three in 20 overs.
