New Delhi: The country has reported 2,82,970 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, which was 18 per cent higher than Tuesday’s reported 2.38 lakh daily cases.
According to the Health Ministry, 441 people lost their lives from virus on Wednesday, taking the total death toll tally to 487,202.
India records total caseload since the pandemic broke stands at 3,79,01,241 on Wednesday. This includes 8,961 cases of the Omicron variant.
