New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in their home ground on Thursday. Royal Challengers Bangalore had a target of 205 runs to win, but the the team led by Faf du Plessis was reduced to just 123 runs in 17.4 overs.

Kolkata Knight Riders won the match by 81 runs. Nonetheless, this is the first win of the season for Kolkata Knight Riders. While Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered their first defeat in the season
