Lakhimpur Kheri: Ashish Mishra will appear at 11am tomorrow: UP govt to SC

Lakhimpur Kheri: Senior lawyer Harish Salve, appearing for UP government, informs Supreme Court that prime accused Ashish Mishra, who failed to appear before police today despite summons, will appear at 11am tomorrow.

Eight people including four farmers and a journalist were killed in in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri as many of the dead mowed down by SUVs including one allegedly belonging to Union home minister Ajay Kumar Mishra.

Police had summoned the minister’s son Ashish Mishra for questioning on Thursday, however, he failed to appear before police the police. Two people, identified as Luv Kush and Ashish Pandey have been arrested in this case.
