Mumbai: Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who lost power after a major rebellion in the Shiv Sena, today lashed out at the BJP and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Thackeray, who is trying to strengthen the Shiv Sena, dared Shinde that if he has the courage, then come and fight in the intermediate elections.
“Instead of playing such cheap politics, let’s go to the court of the people, if we go wrong, people will make us sit at home, if you are wrong, people will make you sit at home,” Uddhav Thackeray said.
Former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray alleged that an attempt was made to eliminate the Shiv Sena.
Uddhav Thackeray had resigned as chief minister in the past few days after a revolt in the Shiv Sena. After this, Eknath Shinde, who was leading the rebel faction, formed the government with the help of the BJP. Today, he also proved his majority in the Legislative Assembly.
