London: Amid the Omicron variant scare, officials of the Premier League have to postpone Liverpool’s game against Leeds United and the match between Wolves and Watford.
Both games were scheduled to kick off at 12:30 on Sunday, 26 December but have been called off after requests from Leeds and Watford.
Officials said that due to the number of players got infected with Covid-19, injuries and illness, the decision has been taken by the management.
The club’s training ground has also been closed.
