Major reshuffle in Punjab Police: 33 officers, including SSPs of 6 districts, transferred

Chandigarh: In a major reshuffle in the police department, the Punjab government has issued transfer orders of a total of 30 IPS and 3 PPS officers, including SSPs of 6 districts. Now the new chief of STF will be IPS Kuldeep Singh. He has been given this task after Hardeep Singh Sidhu has gone on deputation to ITBP.

Apart from this, the SSPs of 6 districts have also been changed. B Chandrashekhar has been posted as AdgP Jail, LK Yadav as Director Bureau of Investigation, RK Jaiswal as IG STF, Gurinder Singh Dhillon as IG Law and Order, SPS Parmar as IG Bathinda Range, Naunihal Singh as IG Personnel and Additional Charge IG PAP-II Jalandhar, Arun Pal Singh as IG Provisioning, Shiv Kumar Verma as IG Security, Jaskaran Singh as Police Commissioner Amritsar, IG PAP Jalandhar Kaustubh Sharma has been posted as IG Human Rights, Gursharan Singh Sandhu has been posted as IG Jalandhar Range.

Apart from these, Inderbir Singh has been given DIG PAP Jalandhar Cantonment, Dr. S. Bhupathi has been given DIG Provisioning Additional Commissioner of Police Jalandhar, Narendra Bhargava has been given DIG Joint Director PPA Phillaur, Gurdial Singh has been given DIG AGTF, Ranjit Singh dig Ferozepur Range, Mandeep Singh Sandhu has been given Commissioner Police Ludhiana, Naveen Singla has been given DIG Administration Punjab-Chandigarh, Sandeep Garg has been given SSP Mohali, Viveksheel Soni has been posted as SSP Ropar, Nanak Singh as SSP Mansa, Gaurav Tura as AIG Personnel, Kanwardeep Kaur as SSP Ferozepur and Surender Lamba as SSP Sangrur.
