Bangkok: India’s star table tennis player Manika Batra won the bronze medal in the Asian Cup table tennis tournament.
This made her the first Indian woman player to win a medal in the event. She defeated world number six and three-time Asian champion Hina Hayat of Japan 11-6, 6-11, 11-7, 12-10, 4-11, 11-2 to win the bronze medal.
