Mulayam Yadav’s daughter-in-law joins BJP

New Delhi: In a set back to Samajwadi Party, the party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday ahead of the crucial UP assembly elections.

She joined the party in the presence of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP national president JP Nadda and other leaders.

Aparna is married to Prateek Yadav, Mulayam’ son from second marriage. SP president Akhilesh Yadav is his son from the first marriage.

After joining the BJP, she told the media that she was always impressed with PM Narendra Modi’s working style and country’s interest had always been her top priority.
