New Delhi: Sonia Gandhi will appear before Enforcement Directorate office today for questioning in three phases in National Herald case under the leadership of ED Additional Director General Monika Sharma.

According to ED sources, Gandhi may be given intermittent rest. In the first phase, seven individual questions will be asked and then there will be inquiries about Young India. In the second phase, questions will be answered about AJL and Congress. The third phase will be questioning all aspects.

In view of Sonia Gandhi’s health, some Congress leaders had requested the ED officials to come and question Sonia Gandhi at her residence if possible.

According to sources, the ED officials had accepted the request and said that if she could not come, they would go to Sonia Gandhi’s house and take her statement. However, Gandhi reportedly said that she can handle this herself and would visit the ED office around 11:30am.
