Chandigarh: PPC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday joined the dharna organised by the families of the Behbal Kalan firing victims.
Behbal Kalan police firing victim Krishan Bhagwan Singh’s son Sukhraj Singh has started an indefinite strike on Thursday at the spot where his father was shot.
“We have been waiting for justice for over six years. No government in the state has done anything to deliver justice and not made tall claims. I have decided to sit on indefinite protest and will continue it till justice is delivered,” Sukhraj said.
The Amritsar and Kapurthala incidents have brought the sacrilege issue to the centre stage, ahead of the Assembly elections.
