Bhubaneswar: Three-time champions Netherlands arrived here today to take part in the Men’s World Cup to be held in Odisha. The team was given a warm welcome at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
The tournament will be played from January 13 to 29. The Thierry Brinkman-led Netherlands will complete their final preparations in Bhubaneswar ahead of their trip to Rourkela on January 10, where they will take on Malaysia on January 14 in their first match of the tournament. The Dutch team has reached the finals in the last two editions, along with winning the World Cup in 1973, 1990, and 1998.
