Belgium minister has announced that the country reported first case of new Covid-19 variant in Europe. South Africa has become a cause of concern for many nations due to new variant.
Top US infectious disease official Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Friday that a ban on flights from southern Africa was a possibility and the US was rushing to gather data on the new virus variant.
Meanwhile, India has not reported any case of new variant but it recorded 10,549 daily new Covid-19 cases and 488 deaths in last 24 hours.
