New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out searches at several locations in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana this morning to crack down on links between militants and gangsters.

Raids are being carried out at residential and other locations linked to gangsters in these four states and more than six districts of Delhi, aimed at ending the nexus between terrorists, gangsters and drug smugglers based in India and abroad.

The raids are focused on the nexus of a gang linked to Lawrence Bishnoi, Neeraj Bawana, Tillu Tajpuria and Goldy Brar, who are already under the scanner of the anti-terror agency.
