New Delhi: In yet another incident, a male passenger reportedly urinated on a woman on an Air India flight, officials said on Thursday.
According to the information, a man urinated on the blanket of a woman passenger on a flight from Paris to Delhi. Air India officials said no action was taken against the male passenger as he had tendered a written apology.
According to the information, the flight landed in Delhi at around 9.40 am. Airport security was told that the male passenger had consumed alcohol and was not following the instructions of the cabin crew. He then urinated on the blanket of woman passenger in inebriated condition. He was then caught by the CRPF in Delhi, but after a compromise between the two passengers, the male passenger was released.
The incident took place on Air India flight 142 on December 6. The pilot of the aircraft had complained to the Air Traffic Control of the Indira Gandhi International Airport, after which the male passenger was caught, but after a written apology by the man, woman passenger did not file any complaint and he was released.
On November 26 last year, a drunk man had allegedly urinated on a woman co-passenger in business class on air India’s New York-Delhi flight. A case has been registered in this regard against Mumbai-based businessman and raids are on to nab his arrest.
