‘Now I am enjoying my batting’ says Virat Kohli afre returning to form

New Delhi: Virat Kohli’s return to form before the World Cup to be held in Australia next month has given a big relief to Team India. In the third T20 match against Australia, Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings of 63 runs. After this innings, Virat Kohli said that he is enjoying his batting once again.

Before the Asia Cup, serious questions were being raised about Virat Kohli’s form. But Virat Kohli showed signs of returning to form by scoring a century in international cricket after three years.

Virat Kohli said, “I have been enjoying my batting since I made a comeback in the Asia Cup. I am also enjoying practice sessions. All my focus is on my fitness.”

On the win in the third T20 against Australia, Virat Kohli said, “I am batting at number three. I have to use my experience for the team and I am ready to do everything that the team needs from me. Here also I got a good start and I carried it forward,” he said.

Virat returns to form

Virat Kohli said about Suryakumar, “Rohit and Rahul told me that when Suryakumar is hitting big hits, you just stay at the crease. I was taking the partnership forward. I used my experience. Suryakumar has proved what a fantastic batsman he is.”

After the failure on the England tour, there was a demand to exclude Virat Kohli from the team in T20. However, captain Rohit Sharma and the team management kept their faith in Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli was also given a two-month break to return to form. This break proved to be effective and Virat Kohli is once again batting in his old style.
