New Delhi: Olympic medallist Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain today alleged that she was facing mental harassment over removal of her coaches by the authorities, hampering her preparation for the Commonwealth Games.
She said that such politics is affecting the preparations of the game.
The Indian boxing team had reached the Games Village here after a practice session in Ireland on Sunday night but Lovlina’s personal coach Sandhya Gurung could not enter the games village as she did not have the accreditation. Lovlina likely wanted to keep her personal coach, Amey Kolekar, along during the Commonwealth Games, but could not make it to the long list of the Indian contingent.
