Washington: Emerging BA. 2 form of Omicron variant of the virus may not be dangerous than the original BA. 1 form, World Health Organization officials said today.
WHO officials, however, asked counties to stay cautious as Omicron has not yet peaked in some nations.
Addressing the media, WHO director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that it is early for any country to surrender or declare triumph over Covid-19. The virus is still dangerous and continue to evolve. However, the emerging form of Omicron does not seem much dangerous than the current form.
