Chandigarh: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, who arrived in Delhi today, said that one accused has been arrested in connection with Khalistani flags installed outside assembly in Dharamshala by the state police.
CM Thakur said that two accused were involved in the crime and one has been arrested a few hours ago and did not divulge more information into the matter.
He said that HP police is investigating the case.
Earlier, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, general counsel to Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) was main conspirant in the case and a case was lodged under sections 153-A, 153-B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 3 of Himachal Pradesh Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1985, pertaining to the incident.
