One killed, six injured in Shooting at Florida nightclub

Washington: In the US, shooting is reported once again in tampa city of Florida. According to reports, one person lost his life while six people were injured due to bullet injuries in the incident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

The shooting took place at 3 pm local time on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday (October 8-9).

According to Tampa police, preliminary investigation has revealed that an altercation broke out between two big parties inside the bar lounge. The dispute between the people involved in the altercation inside the club heated up so much that they started firing at each other.

No one was arrested in the case till Sunday afternoon. The police have not yet identified the people involved in the incident.

Tampa Police Chief Mary O’Connor said raids were being conducted to find those responsible for the incident. He described the firing as “silly violence”. The police officer said that there is no reason why someone lost their life in the fight at the club.

Shooting in Ohio

The day-to-day shootings in the US remain a matter of concern. Earlier, there were reports of shootings outside the stadium during a school football match in Ohio. Three people were said to have been shot in the incident. There was a stampede in the stadium after hearing the sound of firing.

In fact, on October 8, it was reported that when the football match between Whitmer High School in Ohio and Central Catholic was about eight minutes away, gunshots were heard from outside the stadium.

The match was stopped due to a stampede in the stadium. A video clip of the match was also revealed, in which gunshots were heard during the match. After this, the law enforcement agencies started investigating the case.
