Ottawa going to end vaccine mandates for domestic travel, outbound flights

Ottawa: In a major relief to travels, the government of Canada is going to end the Covid-19 vaccine mandate for domestic travellers in planes, trains as well as outbound international travel.

When vaccine mandate was came to force since October 30, 2021, Canadian government sais that this initiative was being taken to keep travellers and employees in the industry safe.

Reviewing the situation following spurt decline in Covid-19 cases across the country, the government is going to end the vaccine mandate while issuing warning that it may be reinstated if there is a new variant of the virus.
