Chandigarh: Former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, 94, has tested positive for COVID-19 here on Wednesday.
Badal has been holding door-to-door campaign in his home turf Lambi ahead of the elections and had met a number of party leaders, commoners, media persons during the campaigning.
Meanwhile, Badal has been taken to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital and his condition is stated to be normal.
Officials said that they are conducting general tests.
