Passengers dealing with travel delays at Pearson Airport ahead of forecasted Ontario storm

Ottawa: Several flights are expected to be delayed at the airport due to inclement weather on Friday.

A family of four is yet to reach their destination in London, England.

He left Saskatoon two days ago. Haider, a member of the family, said they have been wearing the same clothes for three days. Their original flight was cancelled due to lack of staff. The family said that they had hoped that their trip as a family would be memorable in many years, but due to such a delay, on the one hand, the disappointment they have suffered is unbearable and they are finding this trip very expensive.

Several passengers can be seen passing through such a situation at Pearson Airport. In addition to the delay in reaching Toronto, a group of 10 people also have no understanding of what is happening to them. All of them were on their way to Montago Bay, but are now stranded in Toronto and the airline is not giving them any information about when they will finally be evacuated.

Meanwhile, Air Canada said it expects 2.23 million people to fly from Wednesday to January 8. But a blizzard that hit southern Ontario on Friday could once again lead to a delay in flight.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Toronto, prohibiting most residents of southern Ontario from traveling unnecessarily before Christmas.
