Patrick Brown wins in Brampton, Crombie in Mississauga & John Tory becomes Toronto mayor

Ottawa: Controversial Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown has registered a landslide victory for a second term as Brampton mayor. He easily beat lawyer Nikki Kaur.

Similarly, Mayor Bonnie Crombie, has been elected thrid time as Mississauga mayor. From 2008 to 2011, she was a Liberal Member of Parliament for the riding of Mississauga—Streetsville, she is mayor of Mississauga, Ontario since December 1, 2014.

John Tory also become mayor of Toronto for the third time and if he completes four years in office, he will become toronto’s longest-serving mayor.

Tory got 62 percent of the 93 percent of the votes cast, easily defeating second-placed Gil Penalosa.

Meanwhile, Michael Thompson has been elected councillor from Scarborough Centre. He even got elected councillor after he was accused of criminal offences and threats to destroy his campaign.
