PM Modi announces to repeal three-farm bills

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation at 9 a.m. on November 19, to announce that the new farm laws enacted in 2019 will be repealed in the upcoming winter session of Parliament.

“Today is the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Today, PM will inaugurate key schemes relating to irrigation in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh,” his office said in a tweet.

The farmers, however, announced that they will not call off the protest their ongoing protest against the three-farm bills at Delhi borders till the government issues the notification in this regard.
