Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would attend legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral.
Her cremation will be held in the evening at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park on Sunday, officials said.
The 92-year-old singer died on Sunday morning as she was undergoing treatment at a private hospital from Covid-19.
Meanwhile, PM Modi would land in Mumbai at around 4:15 pm and make his way to Shivaji Park.
“Will be leaving for Mumbai in some time to pay my last respects to Lata Didi,” PM wrote on his Twitter.
