Ottawa: Relatives and friends of the passengers killed in a plane shot down by the Iranian military three years ago have once again raised their voices for justice.

Three years ago on this day, flight PS752 was blown up by the Iranian army. The Association of Families of Flight PS752 victims paid tribute to those killed in the crash at a ceremony held in Northern Toronto in this regard. During this time, Iran also condemned human rights violations in the strongest terms.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, along with other dignitaries, also addressed the gathering on the occasion. He consoled the bereaved families and said that accountability would be fixed for those who carried out the incident. This incident happened due to the Iranian government’s policy of ignoring human lives. The families took out 12 rallies from Vancouver to Toronto and St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

A total of 176 people were killed, including 55 Canadians and 30 permanent residents. In January 2020, this jetliner of Ukraine International Airlines had just taken off from Tehran via Ukraine, Canada, when it was blown away.
