Toronto: Toronto Hydro and Hydro One said Thursday night power said power has been restored to remaining customers impacted by a mass outage in the city’s downtown on Thursday.
In a update on Thursday late evening, Toronto Hydro said “Together with Hydro One, we’ve restored the remaining customers in the downtown area. Thanks to everyone for your continued patience today. If you’re still without power, please report to our dispatch team at 416-542-8000 (and press 1).”
Earlier, giving the update that power has been restored after much hue cry by Toronto residents, Toronto Hydro
thanked everyone affected for their patience and understanding.
“We want thank our teammates at @TorontoHydro and @Toronto_Fire for their teamwork and collaboration. Earlier this evening, Toronto Fire cleared one of our stations allowing our crews to safely reroute and restore power to Toronto Hydro. Read the release,” wrote in a tweet.
