Prime Minister Narendra Modi meets Dera Beas head

Amritsar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a 30-minute closed-door meeting with Dera chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon at Dera Radha Soami Beas. The Prime Minister arrived at the private air base in Dera Beas by helicopter from Adampur, where he was received by Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon, the head of Dera Radha Soami.

The Prime Minister visited the Langar Hall at the Dera, where he interacted directly with the sangat.

Details of the discussions held during the meeting were not received but the meeting is being linked to the Himachal Assembly elections.

After the closed-door talks, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left the air base of Dera Beas at 12.05 pm. DGP Punjab Police Gaurav Yadav, Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, BJP leader and others were present on the occasion.
