Mangaluru (Karnataka): A student belonging to the Muslim community was called a terrorist by a professor of a private university at Manipal in Udupi district.
The professor has been suspended after a video in this regard went viral on social media. Later, the professor tendered an apology, following which the matter was resolved between the professor and the student of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT). However, after a video of the student clashing with the professor over his remarks went viral on social media, the university suspended the professor and initiated an inquiry into the matter.
