Protests Erupt in Hyderabad Over BJP MLA Raja Singh’s Comments On Prophet Mohammed

Hyderabad: After the controversial statement made by BJP MLA from Telangana T Raja, the matter has created a political havoc in the state. Protests are being held against BJP MLA in Telangana’s capital Hyderabad. T Raja is accused of making a controversial statement about the Prophet. He is accused of making controversial remarks against the prophet in his statement issued against stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui.

“An FIR has been registered against MLA Raja Singh for his alleged derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad,” DCP (Hyderabad South) P Sai Chaitanya said. A protest had started at the South Zone DCP office last night demanding action against Raja.

Angry people protested in Hyderabad’s Dabirpura Bhavani Nagar over the controversial statement of BJP MLA T Raja. AIMIM leaders were also among those protesting.

MLA T Raja Singh is known for his controversial statements. T Raja Singh is an MLA from Goshamahal assembly seat in Telangana.

Actually, stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui had done a show in Hyderabad, but T Raja had said before the show was done that he would not allow his show to happen in Hyderabad.
