Jalandhar: The BJP party has opened its Punjab office in Jalandhar.
Union minister and Punjab affairs incharge Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was present on the occasion along with other senior leaders.
Shekhawat, while speaking to media said that Punjab was looking for an alternative as the state has been ruled by two families – Gandhis from Delhi and Badals here.
“However, those responsible for slipping down of Punjab are not ready to own responsibility and are out to make false promises again,” he quipped.
Taking a dig at 22 farm groups forming new party to contest elections, he said, “The farmers who said they had no political agenda and their concern were farm issues only, but now they have even formed a party and are ready to contest elections.”
