Punjab sets up sub-committee to implement Old Pension Scheme, appoints chief secretary as chairman

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has prepared to implement the old pension scheme.

It has formed a sub-committee after holding a meeting of 5 officers to restore the old pension. This committee will inform the government how the old pension can be restored.

At the same time, what benefit can the employees get from this? The committee will be headed by Chief Secretary VK Janjua. While IAS KAP Sinha, IAS Ajay Kumar Sinha and IAS Abhinav Trikha are the members. This committee will present its recommendations to the Cabinet Sub-Committee for consideration.
