Rahul Gandhi attacks Modi govt over unemployment; promises food parks in Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday launched a scathing attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that over 700 farmers were martyred during the struggle against three black farm but the BJP did not even apologises to families.

He said that why PM Modi does talk about issue of demonetisation, black money, corruption and employment during his speech at Hoshiarpur.

Gandhi further said that the PM had promised to give employment to the youth. But he didn’t stand up to his promise.

Rahul Gandhi also targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah and said he is now talking about drugs but he had not issued even a single statement against then alliance partner Akali Dal even he raised the issue of drugs in Chandigarh University and they made fun it.

“At that time, it was the government of your friends. We’ve taken action against your friend and Will take further action to eliminate drugs from Punjab,” he said while lashing out at SAD-BJP.

Gandhi said that that if Congress formed the government again, it will set up a ‘cluster’ through which payment is made directly to farmers for crops their produce.

He said that Channi would run a government of small and medium businessmen, traders and farmers.
