Amritsar: Former All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi paid obeisance at the Golden Temple in Sachkhand today. People were surprised to see Rahul Gandhi paying obeisance in a turban on his head.
While Rahul Gandhi prayed for the peace and tranquility of the country at the Golden Temple, he also prayed for success of his yatra.
It is worth mentioning that before starting the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Punjab, Rahul Gandhi has reached the Golden Temple to pay obeisance and seek blessings. The yatra will start from Fatehgarh Sahib tomorrow.
He was accompanied by LoP Partap Singh Bajwa, Punjab Congress president Raja Warring, Harpartap Singh Ajnala and other Congress leaders.
