Random sampling of corona continues at airports, Covid-19 mock-drill tomorrow in India

New Delhi: New strain of Omicron has caused an outcry in China. There is a continuous increase in positive cases and the number of dead is also increasing rapidly. The Indian government is also on alert after seeing the situation in China.

According to the guidelines of the central government, preparations for Covid are being strengthened in India. At the same time, sampling of people coming from abroad is also going on at the airport, so that if a person is infected with corona, he can be quarantined on time.

On Monday, Union Health Ministry Mansukh Mandaviya gave information on Twitter about random sampling of Corona. He also shared some pictures on Twitter, in which it is seen that random corona test has started at the airport. The airport management also seems to be following the instructions of the government.

Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said that random COVID-19 testing has started at various airports across the country in the wake of rising cases of COVID globally.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, ‘mock drills’ will be conducted in hospitals in various states and union territories to ensure their preparedness to deal with any COVID-19 related incident. The exercise will focus on parameters such as availability of health facilities in all districts, capacity of quarantine beds, oxygen supported beds, ICU beds and ventilator beds as well as maximum availability of doctors and other healthcare workers.
