Recovered weapons from slain gangsters Manu and Rupa used to kill Moosewala: Police

Chandigarh: The Punjab Police have claimed to trace the weapon used to kill Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Prior to Mansa police, Delhi police had also made grilled Priyavart Fauji, Kashish and Ankit Sirsa about the recovery of weapons, but the weapons could not be obtained.

However, after a forensic report, police found it that AK-47 and a gun recovered from sharp shooters Manpreet Mannu Kusa and Jagroop Roopa were used in the murder.

Both gangsters were killed in an encounter near Amritsar last month.

According to the police official, when Manpreet Mannu and Jagroop Roopa did not surrender themselves to the police during the encounter in Amritsar district, both of them were killed during the encounter and an AK-47 and 9 mm pistols were recovered from both of them.
