Chandigarh: Sikh organisations has appeared centre government to immediately release of Sikh prisoners jailed beyond their prison term.
On the SGPC’s call for meeting the SGPC, the Sikh organisations gathered at Gurudwara Sri Sanh Sahib, Basarke Gillan, the religious holy shrine of Majha, paid obeisance to Sri Akhand Path Sahib ji kept for the release of the Sikh prisoners.
They said that many Sikhs had been in jail for years even after completion of their sentences. The government should release them at once.
