New Delhi: German football club Bayern Munich’s star striker Robert Lewandowski is all set to move to Spanish football club Barcelona.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona have reached an agreement in this regard. According to Spanish media, Barcelona may have to pay around Rs 400 crore for this big transfer.
The 33-year-old Lewandowski currently has a one-year contract with Bayern Munich, but is already preparing to leave the club. Some media reports say that he is going to sign a three-year contract with Barcelona.
Bayern Munich President Herbert Haener has also issued a statement regarding the transfer of the star footballer from Poland. “We have reached a verbal agreement with Barcelona. It is great to have clarity in front of all sides. Robert is an incredible player and he lives everything with us. We are very grateful to them.”
Bayern Munich’s second-highest goalscorer
Lewandowski arrived in Bayern Munich from Borsia Dortmund in 2014. Since then, Munich has won the Bundesliga title every time. In 2020, this German club also won the Champions League. Lewandosky has been the second-highest goalscorer for Bayern Munich. In May this year, he expressed his desire to leave Munich.
