Romanian billionaire among eight killed in a plane crash in Milan

Italy: Eight people died after a private plane crashed into an empty building in Milan, Italy, according to police.

As per the information, the plane took off from Milan’s Linate city airport on Sunday and was heading towards the island of Sardinia when the unfortunate incident occurred.

It was piloted by Romanian billionaire Dan Petrescu and 68-year-old was one of Romania’s richest men, heading a major construction firm.

Petrescu’s 65-year-old wife and their son Dan Stefano, 30, were killed along with four of their friends, two sisters and a couple with their one-year-old child killed in the crash.
