Ruckus in Punjab Assembly over Sidhu Moosewala case, Congress staged a walkout

Chandigarh: Members of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the opposition Congress on Thursday engaged in a heated argument in the Punjab Assembly over the issue of withdrawal of Sidhu Moosewala’s security cover.

On this occasion, there was a heated exchange between Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal and Congress leaders Amrinder Singh Raja Warring and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa.

The Congress MLAs trooped into the well of the House due to Dhaliwal’s remarks against the Congress. Raising slogans, Congress MLAs walked out of the House.

They demanded action against Baltej Pannu, OSD to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, for allegedly sharing Punjab Police report of pruning security of Sidhu Moosewala on the social media, following this, gangsters attacked him and killed him in a gruesome murder on May 29 last year.
