New Delhi: The farmers, led by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, began a 75-hour-long sit-in at the Rajapur Mandi Committee complex this morning to press for various demands, including the dismissal of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra.
Bhartiya Kisan Union Tikait’s national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait, national organising secretary Bhudev Sharma and other prominent leaders of the organisation had reached here on Wednesday itself to stage a sit-in, said Dilbag Singh Sandhu, district president of Bhartiya Kisan Union Tikait and local convener of the sit-in.
Several other leaders of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha will also participate in the 75-hour sit-in.
