Sangrur bypoll: 5% voting recorded till 10am, 15 lakh voters to decide fate today

Sangrur: The enthusiasm among the voters over today’s polling for the Sangrur by-election is rare this time. In Sunam city, as usual, shopkeepers opened their shops and markets were also open as usual and only 5 per cent voting has been recorded so far.

Meanwhile, all arrangements have been completed by the administration for the by-election of Sangrur Lok Sabha Constituency. A total of 1766 polling stations have been set up for this by-election, out of which 296 polling stations have been declared as sensitive. As many as 15,69,240 voters will exercise their franchise in this election.
